Customers 62 year of age or older may be eligible for a discount on electric service, on security lights, and to become exempted from late payment penalties. To qualify the account holder must present proof of age.
The Senior Citizen Electric Discount is $6.00 per month from the monthly base charge, and only one residential location is eligible per senior citizen. The Senior Security Light is a $2.00 per month discount per light at a residence.
Senior Citizen account holders are exempted from late payment penalties, which are applied 18 days after the billing date. If incurred, extension fees, service charges, or disconnection charges still apply.
