Apply for Service Using Our Simple Online Application!
If you are a current Elberton Utilities customer and need to add utility services to your account, please contact us at (706) 213-3278. If you aren’t an Elberton Utilities customer, please complete our Residential Utilities Application or Commercial Utilities Application. You can also call us at 706-213-3278(FAST).
To find out if there is Elberton Utilities service(s) available in your area, please call 706-213-3278(FAST) and speak with a customer service representative. We can locate the property if you provide us with the street address and the owner’s name.
The following information is needed to apply for service:
Residential Customers:
- Lease agreement or proof of ownership
- Photo I.D.
- Social Security number
- A deposit may also be required based on credit through a credit inquiry
- If a credit inquiry is declined, the maximum deposit will automatically apply
- $25 non-refundable account establishment fee
Commercial Customers:
- Lease agreement or proof of ownership
- W-9 or social security number
- Photo I.D.
- A deposit equal to twice the estimated monthly bill during the period of greatest usage may also be required. The deposit may be made in the form of a certificate of deposit in lieu of cash deposits with Elberton Utilities listed as joint owner
- $25 non-refundable account establishment fee
All requests must be completed by 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in order for services to be possibly connected on the same day. Otherwise, service will not be turned on until the next business day. No service will be connected on holidays or weekends.
