Report an Outage or Leak

If you are an Elberton Utilities customer and would like to report an outage with your electric, water or natural gas services please contact 706-213-3278(FAST) Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and after hours 706-213-3278(FAST) and follow the prompts.

Be prepared to give the name in which the account is listed and the service address. Provide the Account Number if possible, which is listed on your monthly bill. We suggest keeping our phone number and your account number near a phone in your home.

Never touch a downed power line. Always assume all downed lines are energized and contact us immediately. In the event of an emergency, call 9-1-1.

To report a possible Natural Gas Leak, please call us at 706-213-3278 any time, 24 hours a day, or call 9-1-1.

If you smell natural gas or think you may have a natural gas leak within your home or business:

• Leave the area immediately and tell others to leave too.
• From outside the area or building call us using a cell phone or neighbor’s phone at 706-213-3178 or call 9-1-1.
• Do not turn any lights on or off, don’t smoke, and don’t operate any vehicle or equipment that could cause sparks.
• Do not attempt to turn natural gas valves off or on.

Elberton Utilities will send a trained service technician immediately to investigate any emergency leak call.
